Ranked No. 1 for Best Campus Environment in the Princeton Review’s 2023 B-school rankings, our main campus in Ithaca, NY, is an incredible place to learn and grow. The Johnson School spaces offer a mix of high technology and historic charm, and the broader Finger Lakes Region of New York provides plenty to see and do near campus. The Johnson School also has a presence on Roosevelt Island in New York City, allowing our students to tap into the massive business hub of Manhattan.
The Samuel Curtis Johnson Graduate School of Management is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), the organization that sets the gold standard for business education.
Less than 6 percent of business schools worldwide have achieved AACSB accreditation, and we’re proud to be recognized among this elite group of institutions. This designation underscores our commitment to high-quality, highly relevant graduate business programs. Top-tier employers often specifically seek out graduates of AACSB-accredited programs.
As a founding member of AACSB, Cornell University has a long tradition of providing quality academics, retaining distinguished faculty, and delivering strong career outcomes.
The Johnson School was among the first top-tier business schools to create an office dedicated to supporting the rising generation of diverse leaders. Since 1999, the Office of Diversity and Inclusion, which is open to all students, has broken barriers and dismantled systems that have prevented students from showing up as their authentic selves—in the classroom and the workplace. Here’s how we integrate diversity and inclusion into the graduate student experience:
We prepare students from everywhere to lead anywhere. Our globally focused curriculum includes diversity-related courses and real-world learning experiences. We also offer inclusion-focused professional development opportunities for students, faculty, and staff.
We nurture success by creating a sense of belonging. Our graduate students have access to an array of personal, academic, and career support from the Office of Diversity and Inclusion, as well as resources from across the school, the college, and the university.
Across the Johnson School, you’ll find student organizations and clubs that bring communities and allies together to celebrate diverse cultures and provide learning and networking opportunities. You’ll also engage with diverse alumni and industry partners.
The SC Johnson College is committed to creating an inclusive and supportive environment where every individual is respected, valued, and empowered. While each of our schools has its own Office of Diversity and Inclusion, addressing the unique needs of its students, all offices are united by the college’s core values. Through a variety of events, programs, and initiatives, we strive to foster a community where students from all backgrounds feel welcomed and inspired to succeed. “We have the opportunity to shape the next class by leading various events for current and prospective students. I had the opportunity to partner with incredible students this past year. Students can expect strong second-year and faculty support.”
