Academic Dates: A Note About Weekends
Please understand that weekends are not free. Weekends are frequently needed for homework, academic review sessions, exams, and other activities. This is particularly true during the accelerated summer core curriculum. We urge you to avoid outside commitments as much as possible.
Summer Term
The summer core curriculum is extremely accelerated. Class sessions and exam dates are mandatory; plan to be fully engaged and limit your outside commitments. Typically, you will take two classes at a time, with in-class sessions four days a week and the other day set aside to work on assignments or study for exams.
Fall Semester
After completing your foundational summer business core, it will be time to start your academic year studies with the rest of the Cornell Tech community. The Cornell Tech Student & Academic Affairs website will continue to be your guide for your time on Roosevelt Island.
