Consortium FAQs
If you submit a Consortium application by October 15th, we will review your application and provide a decision on a rolling basis.
If you submit a Consortium application by January 5th, we will review your application and provide a decision on a rolling basis.
This year, we will consider all applications submitted during the first round of the Consortium as October Round Johnson applicants. Those submitting in the second round will be considered January Round Johnson applicants. Consortium applications will be reviewed within their respective round and decisions will be made on a rolling basis.
All accepted Consortium students must submit one initial deposit of $1,500 by the deadline given in your offer letter, and a second deposit of $1,500 by Noon Eastern Time, June 1.
Consortium students receiving Park Fellowships must submit a $3,000 deposit by the deadline given in your offer letter, and a second deposit of $1,500 by Noon Eastern Time, June 1 (total of $4,500).
If you would like to apply for a dual degree, you must submit an application for the other program you plan to pursue in addition to a Consortium application for the MBA program. Each program maintains unique application processes and provides independent admissions decisions.
Consortium membership decisions will come directly from the Consortium in mid-March. Consortium fellowship decisions will come from Johnson after the Membership and Fellowship Selection Committee meeting, in mid to late March.
To be admitted to Johnson, you must complete a Johnson interview. Interviews are evaluative and available by invitation only. They may be conducted by an admissions staff member or second-year MBA student. We encourage you to visit Ithaca for an in person interview, especially if you have not visited campus before. If you cannot travel to Ithaca, we also offer Skype interviews.
To be considered for Consortium fellowships and memberships, you must apply through The Consortium; submit all of the required materials according to their processes and by their deadlines.
If you are a US citizen and wish to be considered for the Park Leadership Fellows Program, you must complete the Park Leadership essay under the Johnson Supplemental portion of The Consortium application. Park Fellow candidates will be required to come to campus to attend one of the L.E.A.D. events by invitation only.
All Consortium applicants are considered for Johnson merit-scholarships in addition to The Consortium fellowship.
Fellowships cover full tuition for two years.
