Biography
Fred Asante's research interest focuses on behavioral finance, valuation, effects of corporate financial disclosures on capital markets, and how financial markets react to financial accounting information. In particular, he is interested in examining how accounting information influences individual judgment, and decision-making of accountants, financial advisors, controllers, investors, auditors and other market participants.
Prior to joining the Johnson Ph.D. program in 2021, he worked for Bank of America in different capacities within corporate finance and commercial banking where he delivered financial solutions for middle-market clients. Fred received his BBA in Accounting from Howard University and an MBA from Wake Forest University.
