Biography

Victor Besse joined the Ph.D. program in 2023. His main research interests lie in industrial organization, mechanism design, competition structures, and strategy. Prior to joining the program, he completed a BA in Economics and Mathematics at Cornell University, received an MA in Economics from the University of Texas at Austin, and worked for the Teacher Retirement System of Texas in quantitative macro-finance, specifically in foreign exchange research.
